CRL Adjustable Height Standoff Caps are the perfect hardware when it is imperative that glass panels are installed so that they are plumb and in line with one another. Small imperfections on the mounting surface or slightly bowed glass may result in vertical misalignment of the standoffs and difficulties in lining up the panels. Shimming the glass can sometimes be used to alleviate these problems however; it’s not a very accurate method and often requires that the mounted glass panel must be taken off its connectors. These CRL Adjustable Height Standoff Caps allow for 1/4" (6 mm) alignment with just a simple turn of a screw without having to take down the glass panel. The complete assembly fits over a 2" (51 mm) Standoff Base (sold separately). Custom finishes are available on request. Assembly consists of: One Cap, one Adjustable Collar, One special Internal Screw, two clear Washers, and one Grommet to protect the glass. Patent Pending.
